The social media is filled with the diverse activities our guests and the vast majority of people who come to visit this area occupy themselves with. You don’t have to seek hard to find the stunning array of photography captured by both professional and amateur (me!) photographers. Scenic mountain views, weather patterns, bird and wild life, sea-scapes and sporting exploits are captured for those individual memories. There is also the elusive moment when the camera isn’t to hand quick enough (my otter the other day!), but from all the pictures I see, i am not surprised we are one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK. The self-styled Outdoor Capital of the UK is not far fetched, and I had to explain why this was called so to my 8 year old son, when he saw the signs in Glencoe.
Fishing, Skiing, sailing, climbing, walking, kayacking, mountain biking, canyoning, tubing, road biking…..the list is endless. And to those of my friends who believe Scotland is an empty wilderness, get yourselves up here and see firsthand the diversity.
I challenge each and every one of you not to be bored on a visit to this beautiful part of the world!!
