…and guess what the kind editors at Cosmopolitan Magazine have to say for us, check this out…..these are the most stunning treehouses we have seen, and are all within these beautiful British Isles.
Something we wonder about when marketing the Treehouse is the perception that it is of a temporary build, perhaps not suitable for wild weather or luxury holidays? Especially with the spread of such like properties – from yurts to teepees, shepherds huts to literally basic treehouses and cabins which charge the earth for a nightly shelter.
The Treehouse at Kinlochlaich is a permanent building, built to full eco and building standards and will stand the test of time over the coming decades. Fully insulated with ecotherm newspaper, the highest craft in the woodwork throughout, and finished off with breathable lime render on the walls and hand cut Ballachuillish slate tiles on the roof, this is not a temporary or slumming it style residence.
It is in fact also our home in Scotland, and we share it with guests inbetween our visits. We are priveledged to own it, and the running of the business and property is an absolute delight, especially hearing all the positive comments from happy guests.
